The past has become the present; the threats from their yesterdays have returned with a vengeance; the resource management company who’s lease renewal could depend on the outcome of the election; the Native American’s who’re are vying for control of the lease; the fanatical minister who incites his followers by preaching fire and brimstone; and the suspicious happenings in the survival camps held by a militia group.
Danika doesn’t cry 'uncle' easily and she is determined to disabuse Kirk's image of himself, show him how to love, and love him enough to make him want to stay.. if she can stay alive long enough.
Their future is.. iffy.
